What connects

What you can do with FYI

From FYI’s integration documentation ↗
01

Open the document behind the number

Link a contract, invoice or loan agreement in FYI to the relevant AccountKit tool. The source is there when someone needs to check the work.

02

Find files in the client’s context

Browse FYI documents by client group in AccountKit, or open the applicable client directly in FYI.

03

File the finished work back in FYI

Export AccountKit reports, client maps and schedules to FYI, with filing details and optional AutoFile defaults.

In practice

From a finance contract to a filed schedule

Keep the original agreement in FYI, link it to the equipment finance tool and return the completed AccountKit schedule to the client’s FYI record.

Connection setup

Bring FYI into your AccountKit setup

Start with the accounts and permissions, then test the work your team needs to do.

  1. 01

    Check access in FYI

Confirm your FYI plan and administrator or Automations permissions using the connection guide.

  2. 02

    Connect the two accounts

Create the credentials in FYI’s AccountKit app settings, then enter them in AccountKit’s Integrations settings. Keep these credentials private.

  3. 03

Check a client and the filing defaults

Confirm the automatically mapped client, test document access and set any cabinet or category AutoFile defaults your firm needs.

Before you connect

Who can set up the FYI connection?

FYI’s guide lists Pro or Elite eligibility. An FYI administrator, or a user with the relevant Automations permission, creates the connection credentials in Automation > Apps > AccountKit. Enter those in AccountKit’s Integrations settings. Follow the current guide to confirm your plan and permissions.

Can we see FYI with AccountKit before deciding?

Book an AccountKit demo and mention FYI. Bring a real example of the work you want to connect so the team can confirm the setup, supported actions and plan requirements for your firm.
